Pair of 18th century Chinese silk ceremonial dressesThese are a stunning and rare pair of framed 18th century Chinese silk ceremonial dresses. The amount of detail is incredible with very fine figures and birds amongst tress. The condition of these is very good with clean bold colours and near perfect figural panels. These are a very large size making them huge decorative. Framed in a mid 20th century black lacquered frame with red silk background. Height 109cm Width 125cm

The wood is most likely yew and has a really tactile finish

The metal covers screwed into the sides add plenty of charm to the piece and the aged patina to the wood finish it perfectly
